• IAEA/ UNDP/ RCA National Training Course on Radiation Safety in using Radioisotopes for Research and Industrial Applications.
• IAEA Fellowship Training on Radiation Protection at Bhabha Atomic Research Centre (BARC), Mumbai, India.
• Certificate course in Computer Applications using Structured BASIC on Microcomputers, conducted by the Department of Statistics & Computer Science
• Training course on Enhancing IT Skills conducted by the Computing Services Centre of University of Colombo School of Computing.
• Training course on Maintenance of Computers (Hardware) conducted by Institute of Government Accounts and Finance.
• The workshop on "Quality Control and Use of Nuclear Analytical Equipment" conducted by the Atomic Energy Authority.

Work Experience :

• Testing of Food and Non-Food Samples from Import and Export Shipments for Radioactive and Radioactivity Contamination using High resolution Gamma Spectrometry.

• Assisting during field work in connection with hydrological investigations using nuclear techniques.

• Assisting Low Level measurements of natural tritium in water samples at the Natural Tritium Laboratory of the University of Colombo, Sri Lanka

• General laboratory handling of low level radioactive materials.

• Maintenance of nuclear electronics equipment and repairs to some general laboratory equipment.

• Experienced in the use of Micro Computers , maintaining all computers in  the Department and Department WEB.

• Member of the University of Colombo Network Steering Committee

• Member of the Faculty of Science Web Development Committee

• Non-Destructive Testing Methods on welded Plates to determine Internal defects and cracks.
