 Looking and Seeing - Public Lecture by Mitchell Feigenbaum
Prof. Mitchell J. Feigenbaum, Toyota Professor, Rockefeller University will deliver a public lecture titled "Looking and Seeing" on Dec. 5, 2011 at 2.30 p.m. at the New Physics Lecture Theatre (NPLT) of the Department of Physics, University of Colombo.
Prof. Feigenbaum is the Head of the Laboratory of Mathematical Physics at Rockefellor University. His pioneering work in Chaos Theory initiated an explosion of interest in the field. He is the recipient of numerous scientific awards including a MacArthur "Genius" Fellowship.
