Electronic Design Automation [EDA] with cadence OrCAD |
|
| Introduction |
|
|
Electronic
Design Automation (EDA) is a category of tools for designing
and producing electronic systems. OrCAD is a software tool suite
used primarily for electronic design automation. The software
is used mainly to create electronic prints for manufacturing
of printed circuit boards, by electronic design engineers and
electronic technicians to manufacture electronic schematics
and diagrams, and for their simulation. |
| |
| Objectives |
|
To understand the basic design flow of EDA software and be acquainted
with some of the available software. Many software packages
are available for electronic design. In this workshop, we use
EDA suite called OrCAD available under Windows. |
