Centre
for Instrumenr Development [CID] was set up under the Department
of Physics to cater for the need of variety of instruments in
universities and research laboratories, local industry and educational
institutes, including schools.
The CID comprises of a multidisciplinary research group working
on the fields of Automation & Instrumentation, Postharvest
technology, Drying & solar thermal energy, Optical spectroscopy
& imagine, Computational Physics.
In addition to the research degree programs PhDs and MPhils,
the centre undertakes conducting of courses in certificate,
diploma, undergraduate and postgraduate levels, and training
of personnel in instrumentation related area. |
