The
workshop operates under the supervision of qualified mechanical
Engineer (Mr. L. D. U. Sarath Kumar) and the workshop staff
consists of one technical officer, one instrument mechanic,
three mechanics and one carpenter.
The department's Mechanical workshop undertakes the construction
of items out of wood, plastic, glass and metal. Modern equipment
are available for such work with qualified personnel supervised
by a workshop engineer.
