The 10th Annual General Meeting of the Stat Cirle was held on the 12th of December, 2011. New office bearer's were appointed.
Site revamped
Unveiling the new Stat Circle site, a first of its kind in the University of Colombo. It's fully standards complient and conforms to section 508 with a WCAG 1.0 AAA rating. It is also amongst the first sites in Sri Lanka to succesfully implement microformats.
Innovation and Improvement are key elements that pave the way towards obtaining a competitive advantage in a world where businesses are constantly vying to outperform each other. It can be seen that statistics plays a major role in shaping the way that these two elements are integrated in a current context.
The Stat Circle in collaboration with the Department of Statistics, of the University of Colombo are proud to present Stat Day 2012. Organized for the 10th consecutive time, this year, the theme of the Stat Day "Statistics for Innovation and Business Improvement" augurs to be one which would provide to be stimulating and thought provoking for professionals, academics and undergraduates as well.This year's Stat Day will contain an array of speeches from entrepreneurs and professionals alike with the usual lively panel discussion.
