To Whom: Officers in public or private sector organisations who have not sufficient knowledge about the use of Statistical Packages to carryout data analysis properly. Also this course is ideal for researchers including PhD students who need to use statistical techniques for their research studies. Next program (II) will be on ‘Advance Econometrics Analysis’.
To provide the knowledge and skills in tourism economics and hotel management to those people whose activities will have a positive impact on development of the tourism industry in sustainable manner, but who have as yet not had the opportunity of obtaining a structured understanding and critical analyses of the relevant issues of tourism development and hotel management and related practices. The knowledge and skills are provided in nationally and internationally acceptable and competitive manner.
The DTTEHM is a multi-disciplinary diploma level programme. It is specially designed to respond for the increasing demand for multi-skilled travel and tourism professionals who are able to take responsibility for a wide range of complex industry processes by improving their knowledge through an interactive and application-oriented approach to meet the present challenges of global trends in the travel and tourism industry. The diploma provides practical and analytical competence in socio-economic, ecological, marketing, managerial, accounting, information technological and legal aspects of travel and tourism industry.
The duration of the course will be twelve (12) months except three (3) months for the completion of project report or dissertation with internship training.
