Community Stream Assessment 1 (CSA-I)
Candidates (students) who have a minimum of 80% attendance at group work during Stages I and II will be eligible to appear for the CSA-I. Candidates who are ineligible to appear for CSA-I, due to not having the required attendance, will have to appear for the CSA-I held for a subsequent batch of candidates and it will be considered as their second attempt at the CSA-I. To be eligible to appear for this assessment, they are required to successfully complete an individual assignment specified by the Community Stream.
Candidates who obtain a minimum of 50% marks at the CSA-I will be considered to have passed the CSA-I. Those candidates who fail (less than 50% marks) at the above examination shall be deemed to have passed the CSA-1 examination when they appear for a subsequent CSA-1 examination and pass it (minimum pass mark 50%).
For any candidate who passes CSA-1 in an attempt of the than the candidate’s first attempt, the maximum mark carried would be 50% for that assessment, irrespective of the mark the candidate has obtained.
All students, irrespective of results of CSA-I will proceed with the Community Stream teaching programme.
To be eligible to register/appear for the CSA III a student should have attempted CSAI examination at least once
Group assessment
Average mark given for the group reports submitted during Terms 2 & 3 will be considered as the group mark.
All members of the group will be given the same mark.
