| The Museum is one of the oldest and largest Forensic Museums in Sri Lanka, |
| containing specimens spanning many decades. Specimens from cases of great Medico |
| Legal interest & those with very rare Medico-Legal phenomena can be seen here. |

| Students are allowed to browse through specimens and most specimens |
| contain a descriptive catalogue which enables the students to get a better and wider |
| well understanding of Forensic Medicine in a very user friendly manner. Museum |
| Museum specimens are lent to other Medical Faculties to assist in their Under - |
| Graduate teaching programs and evaluations. |
