Visit from Western Sydney University, Australia to Collaborate with University of Colombo

A delegation from Western Sydney University, Australia met Professor Lakshman Dissanayake, Vice-Chancellor of the University of Colombo on 15th September. The meeting was held in order to discuss on possible Collaborations between the two universities in future. Professor Karl Roberts, Director of Academic Program – Policing and Peace & Development Studies, Dr. Awais Piracha, Director of Academic Program – Geography & Urban Studies and Heritage & Tourism, Mohsen Soliman Ahmed, Senior International Regional Manager, Dr. Dilhari Attygalle, Department of Statistics and Dr. Ruwan Weerasinghe, UCSC participated for the discussion. The event was organized by the International Unit of University of Colombo.

This new collaboration with Western Sydney University will open up many new opportunities for both students and the staff of the University of Colombo in future.
