World-Class Speaker at the Times Higher Education Asia Universities Summit

Senior Professor Lakshman Dissanayake, Vice Chancellor of the University of Colombo has been invited to be World-Class Speaker at the Times Higher Education Asia Universities Summit, which will be held 5-8 February 2018, Shenzhen, China. Professor Lakshman Dissanayake is among other prominent world-class speakers, such as Professor Alice Gast, President, Imperial College, London, Professor Margaret Gardner, President and Vice Chancellor, Monash University, Professor Jianhua Lin, President, Peking University, Professor Judy Genshaft, President, University of South Florida, USA and Sir Keith Burnett, President and Vice Chancellor, The University of Sheffield.

The Times Higher Education Asia Universities Summit 2018 brings a focus on to the world’s most exciting, dynamic and ambitious continent in terms of higher education and research.

On the theme of “Connecting cities, changing the world: research universities building Asia” this summit will allow to identify both the current hubs of excellence and the rising stars in a region that is home to more than half the world’s population.
